This six-week program is designed for early primary school-aged children. Adrienne Shaw will teach a range of introductory art skills based on the exhibitions on display and complimenting what is studied at school.

Students in Level 2 will enrol in a 12-week program comprising six classes during Term 3 and six classes during Term 4.
Level 2 is a program for children aged 8-11 years and is designed to challenge those with a special interest in the visual arts. Different artists sharing their core area of expertise will teach the children in blocks. Students will learn fundamental art skills such as composition, line, tone, colour, shape and form through structured projects and activities. During the Level 2 program the focus is on enhancing abilities through broadening visual vocabulary whilst also retaining children’s ability for free-flowing creative expression. Level 2 classes form a sound foundation for Level 3.
Cost $230/ $220 members
Students will develop their skills in drawing and painting as well as working in 3D. This program will also teach the students about historical and contemporary artists and artworks. Students will work towards a mini group exhibition of their work at the end of 2017.
This program may assist students who require a folio of work for application to a high school art excellence program.
