Invigilation at Cairns Art Gallery
Ensuring the safety and security of artworks on display. Making sure visitors remain a safe distance from any vulnerable works and reporting any issues to the Gallery Front of House team.
Learning Programs
Help prepare for children’s and adult art classes. Set up room for class. Clean and pack up room after classes. Stocktake art materials. Tidy storage areas. A Blue Card is required to assist in children's classes.
Assist in after-hours events
Assist with ensuring guests don’t take drinks or food into Gallery spaces, assist with ensuring guests are not touching artwork, providing directions and assistance to guests. Setting up and packing down chairs, catering, etc
Administrative Tasks
Archiving of paperwork, filing, scanning of historical documents.
