Booked out - Preview - Clarice Beckett: Paintings from the National Collection

Join us to celebrate the opening of Clarice Beckett: Paintings from the National Collection with an evening of art and food with special guest speaker, Edith M. Ziegler, historian, lecturer and author.

Enjoy a welcome drink before an exclusive preview of the exhibition, followed by an illustrated talk as Edith shares insights into one of Australia’s most important early Modernest painters, Clarice Beckett. Beckett's work captured a world on the cusp of modernisation, evoking both the natural environment and simple pleasures of suburbia and is deeply sensitive to the effects of colour, light and atmosphere.

Ticket price includes a welcome drink, preview and talk with Edith Ziegler.  Optional dinner at Perrotta's is to be booked through Perrotta's and paid directly to Perrotta's on the evening.
