Study the structure and proportions of the face, before learning the techniques required to sculpt the human head in clay. Working from photographs for reference, each student will work towards creating an expressive likeness of their subject.

Work will be kiln-fired for collection at a later date.
Beginners welcome.

4 week class 
Wednesdays, 10, 17, 24, 31 March 2021

Outcomes:

• Learn about structure of human head and face
• Learn techniques to manipulate clay
• Each participant can expect to finish a freestanding sculpture of a human head.

Materials required/ things to know:

Beginners welcome. All materials are provided. Participants are encouraged to bring along photographs of the person they want to portray.
