Air Dry Clay Tile Art with Jamie-Lee Simpson, Artist, Ages 4-9

Let us have a look at a technique called Sgraffito, a technique commonly used in ceramic works where the clay is scratched off to reveal a contrast of colour. This is a wonderful way to reveal an eye-catching design with clay work while keeping the technique intuitive and manageable for small hands.

Please note: all air-dry ceramic creations will require a clean area at home to dry completely. 

All materials are provided. To promote a focused and independent learning environment, we require that parents/carers do not remain in the classroom during art sessions. Students can enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers
