What's On | Programs and Events

Our Level 1 program is a wonderful introduction to art skills specially designed for children in early primary school. Creating art allows children to learn and practise skills that help not only in creative learning but assists in creative and critical thinking in core subjects such as maths, science and language. Art skills based on the exhibitions on display will develop a creative skills foundation and give children a sense of achievement and pride in their creations.

Outcomes:

• Learning about basic art & design elements such as line, tone, colour, composition and pattern
• Introduction to a variety of artmaking such as drawing, painting, printing, collage and construction
• Introduction to a variety of tools, media and techniques
• Participants can expect to complete and take home works in a variety of creative approaches in 2D or 3D

All materials provided. Accompanying adult not allowed to stay with participant during class unless arranged prior with the facilitator.
