Colourful Landscape Dioramas with Jamie Lee Simpson, Artist, Ages 4-9

Create your own little wild wonderland in the form of a colourful landscape diorama! Be inspired by the rainbow-hued works of indigenous artist Tania Major and her Cairns Art Gallery exhibition Kowanyama – When Rain Falls, When Earth Sleeps.

Begin with a diorama box then add trees, plants and wildlife to create something unique to you and your imagination.

All materials are provided. To promote a focused and independent learning environment, we require that parents/carers do not remain in the classroom during art sessions. Students can enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
