Block Printing on Tote bags with Hannah Parker, Artist, Ages 9–14

Get inked this school holidays! Block print making is a fun, hands-on introduction to the world of print making!

Block printing is a creative technique using carved blocks of wood, rubber or linoleum to stamp colourful designs onto paper or fabric. Lead by experienced artist and teacher, Hannah Parker, students will be guided through print making techniques, rolling on even layers of ink to premade blocks and stamps and pressing bold, beautiful designs onto their very own cotton tote bag.

This beginner-friendly school holiday workshop is the perfect way to spark creativity and try something new. No artistic experience required, just bring your imagination!

All materials are provided. To promote a focused and independent learning environment, we require that parents/carers do not remain in the classroom during the arts sessions. Students can enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teaches.
