August is Poetry Month, the theme for 2026 is 'Be Brave'. Join six feminist poets from across Australia as they share their work and respond to this years theme at the Cairns Art Gallery

The evening will be bookended by an open mic section for local poets and is presented by Red Room Poetry and this Fresh Hell.
