with Penny Craswell, Obsessed co-curator
Penny Craswell is a Sydney-based editor, writer and curator specialising in design and architecture. As Creative Strategy Associate at the Australian Design Centre (ADC), Penny works closely with ADC CEO and Artistic Director Lisa Cahill on forward planning and strategy, creatively collaborating on a number of significant projects, including co-curating the exhibition 'Obsessed: Compelled to make' and establishing Sydney Craft Week as co-director of the festival. Penny’s research focus encompasses design, craft, architecture and interiors. In 2017, she was presented with the Dean’s Award for Research Excellence for her Masters of Design (Hons) by research at UNSW Art and Design, where her topic was design narratives in magazines. Penny is currently writing a book for Thames and Hudson.
