School holidays are abuzz with excitement and creativity. Each holiday period Cairns Art Gallery offers a dynamic program of specialised art workshops to inspire kids aged 4 – 14 years. All workshops are facilitated by experienced artist/teachers who are dedicated to ensuring your child has an enjoyable and satisfying creative experience. Each holidays bring new and imaginative ideas, and every artist takes home a stylish creation to be proud of!
All materials are provided and students can be dropped off to enjoy the classes under the supervision of our qualified teachers.

Discover the magic of resist techniques! Learn how artists use special tools to keep certain areas of their artwork free from paint. You’ll use tape to design shapes or patterns you want to stay white, then splash on some beautiful watercolors. After that, remove the tape to reveal your masterpiece!
